This throttle response controller takes the fun of driving your Spyder to an exponentially more enjoyable level by giving you push-button control over how quickly you want the throttle to respond to power. It brings the Spyder to life and makes it an absolute beast in the corners with instant throttle response when you need it most.

The Pedal Commander comes with a free app that allows you to pair your smartphone with your Pedal Commander for complete control of your Spyder's throttle response directly from your smartphone. It's pretty cool and lets you control all the same features as the physical module.

Since the Spyder is a "drive by wire" system, the accelerator signal to the ECU is electronic, the Pedal Commander simply intercepts this signal with a 100% plug and play harness and allows you to adjust the sensitivity of your accelerator by simply pressing a button. Normally, when you drive your Spyder at high speed, you have to push your throttle "all the way" to get all the engine power... you can now compress that throttle map with the slightest wrist action or anything in between, allowing you to fine-tune your accelerator to provide power when and where you want it!

When you turn on the ignition for the first time, the Pedal Commander will load in "city" mode. You can then scroll through the modes by pressing the "star" on the pedal logo. You will have the choice of 4 modes: Eco, City, Sport, and Sport+. The LED will light up to indicate which mode you are in. You will notice that the "ECO" mode does not light up when scrolling through the modes. Indeed, the ECO mode was designed for those of you looking for a delay in acceleration and is aimed solely at maximizing MPG and should only be used in highway applications. To access the "eco" mode, you will need to hold down the "star" icon until the "eco" mode lights up. Since the majority of people who buy this device are looking to improve their accelerator response.  The ECO mode will probably not be used by most.

Once you have found the desired mode, you have a button (+) and (-) displayed here. Each mode allows you to adjust the sensitivity of the accelerator in that mode with up to 9 different sensitivity settings. You can decrease the accelerator response in this mode with the button (-). You will see the LEDs below light up red as you decrease the sensitivity. If you want to increase the accelerator response in this mode, click the button (+) and you will see the LEDs below light up green as you increase the sensitivity. If the 9 settings in this driving mode do not match your driving style... you can simply switch modes until you find one that makes you smile.

The system also features a built-in "memory setting", so when you turn the ignition back on for your next ride, the device will load your last used mode and sensitivity level. You can turn off the pedal at any time, restoring its factory response by simply turning off the pedal.
